We are TKO Jersey Co., a Canadian sports apparel company helping teams tell their stories through what they wear. We are a small but mighty team serving communities, clubs, and associations across North America. While our bread and butter is Hockey and Baseball, we design for everything from cornhole to basketball.

We are growing, and we need a creative partner to steer the ship.
 

The Role: Player & Coach

We are looking for a Design Lead. This is a hybrid role for someone who loves the game and the craft. We don’t just need a pair of hands; we need a creative voice who can produce top-tier work and elevate our remote design team.
 

1. The Coach (Leadership & QA) You will be the gatekeeper of quality. You will coordinate our team of remote designers to ensure consistency and speed.

• Direct the Play: Provide clear feedback and direction to remote designers on customer requests.

• Quality Control: You are the final checkpoint. You ensure every file is print-ready, sport-specific regulations are met, and the design hits the client’s vision.

• Build the Workflow: Help us build a scalable design process, including creating master templates, naming conventions, and style guides.
   

2. The Player (Hands-On Design) You will lead by example, taking on complex custom requests and high-priority accounts.

• Create: Design full custom uniform packages (Home/Away/Alt) for Hockey, Baseball, and Softball.

• Expand: Create retail-quality fanwear (hoodies, hats, tees) that fans actually want to wear.

• Execute: Prepare pixel-perfect print files for DTF, Sublimation, and Embroidery.
   

Who You Are

• A Sports Specialist: You know where the seams go on a hockey jersey and why font visibility matters on a baseball diamond.

• Technical Wizard: You are highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW. You understand vector art, cut lines, and print limitations.

• A Communicator: You are comfortable giving constructive feedback to other designers and managing revision cycles efficiently.

• Reliable: You are available during Eastern Standard Time business hours and can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
   

The "Nice to Haves"

• Ability to build 3D uniform mockups.

• Fluency in Urdu (a major asset for communicating with our production partners).

• Knowledge of youth sports uniform regulations.

• Experience in a production environment (screen print, sublimation shop).
